The Glory Chapter

It's hard to move past the glory chapter in my Exodus readings. I want to stay within the cleft of that rock with Moses, and feel the breeze from the Almighty as He passes in front of me. I want Him to know that I'm still seeking; that I still desire to know His ways, and to know Him. I want to see His glory today. I want to bask in it. And I want to remain on this mountain of worship; this holy ground.

But I was not created to bask; I was made to let Glory shine through me. I have to make my way to the next chapter so that my face will shine from the moments when Glory has spoken. Otherwise, how will Paul's words to the church in Rome be fulfilled by Christ's church?

"How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!"

So I turn the page, prepare my feet, and pray that all of Glory will shine from the face of the one who delights in the basking, but who will also choose to do the walking.
